About

We have a great team serving and learning together in a great hospital and health system. Our program remains one of the oldest and most highly regarded family medicine residencies in the Chicago area, attracting a diverse group of energetic residents to our 9-9-9 program. Our residents work in a real-life setting that balances education and service. As they graduate, they launch into many different careers, including solo or group outpatient practice, immediate care, academic medicine, hospital work, and fellowships.

Our faculty is just as diverse and energetic with 14 board certified family physicians and a doctoral level clinical social worker who teach and practice alongside our residents. We have special expertise in Adult Down Syndrome, Geriatrics, Lifestyle Medicine, Sports Medicine, Women’s Health and International Medicine. And we are eager to share that expertise and grow in new areas. A fellowship in Sports Medicine is available.
