The Aurora Interventional Radiology Residency is an integrated, clinically oriented program incorporating the specialties of Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology. The program offers a broad, comprehensive learning experience in the appropriate selection, diagnosis, treatment, and clinical care of patients. The program, which includes a dedicated transitional internship, mainstreams through our longstanding Diagnostic Radiology Residency curriculum during the PGY2-PGY4 years. During PGY5-PGY6, the interventional radiology resident fully immerses into a robust program designed to provide a comprehensive experience of technical procedural training, inpatient and outpatient clinical care, and exposure to the full spectrum of Interventional Radiology practice. The program is approved by the American Board of Radiology, the American College of Radiology and the American Medical Association; and has full ACGME accreditation.
