    About

While my teaching and scholarship is varied in scope, my main interests center on Clinical Reasoning and Medical Decision Making. In my early career at UCSF, I developed a workshop with Dr. Gurpreet Dhaliwal entitled "Educational Strategies to Promote Clinical Reasoning" that was given to medical students, residents, and faculty in multiple settings. This focus also led to serving as an expert case discussant in teaching presentations, a manuscript in The Journal of Hospital Medicine, and a book chapter on teaching clinical reasoning in the Handbook of Clinical Teaching. More recently, my scholarship has turned to Graduate Medical Education in general and toward Quality Improvement projects within our Internal Medicine Residency.
