Dr. Bidwell grew up in Baraboo, WI and graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School in 1999. He joined the faculty after graduating from the Aurora Family Medicine Residency Program in 2002. He served as Associate Program Director from 2006-2008 and as the Program Director from 2009 to 2015. He currently serves as the Vice President of AUWMG and Medical Education in WI for Advocate Aurora Health, Designated Institutional Official for the Aurora Health Care Graduate Medical Education programs, Institutional Official of the Research Subjects Protection Program at Advocate Aurora Health, and Regional Associate Dean of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. His professional interests include urban underserved primary care and leadership development. He lives in the Milwaukee area and enjoys running, gardening, and caring for his small flock of chickens.
