About

I came to family medicine because I truly see the patient as a whole person and can't think of it any other way. I cherish the continuity of seeing patients over time and also seeing their family and friends. My approach is firmly rooted in osteopathic medicine (hence my AOBNMM training as well), and for patient care that means appreciating and encouraging the body's innate healing capacity, which is at the root of all my interventions and recommendations. My other interest within family medicine is lifestyle medicine and I've completed training to be a diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. Outside of medicine, I'm a sports fanatic, love to stay physically active, enjoy cooking, starting many books and finishing very few, and especially enjoy living near the lake with all of its amenities.
