    Personal profile

    About

My goals are to improve, restore and maintain the heart and vascular health of patients, utilizing the full spectrum of treatment options including advanced, minimally invasive catheter-based therapies.

I earned my medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine, Saba, Netherlands Antilles. My residency in internal medicine, along with a fellowship in cardiology and interventional cardiology, was completed at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology and endovascular medicine.

I specialize in coronary angioplasty/stenting, advanced coronary interventions, peripheral vascular catheter based interventions, endovascular therapies for aortic aneurism disease and percutaneous therapy for adult congenital heart disease.

My areas of interest include advanced catheter-based therapies for treatment of non-healing wounds and amputation prevention due to circulation disorders, limb preservation therapies for chronic limb ischemia and advanced catheter-directed therapies for coronary artery disease.

Married with two children, outside of the clinic I enjoy exercising, cooking, reading, hunting and spending time with family.
