    Dr. Lancaster earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1999. In 2004, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from Marian University in Fond du Lac. In 2010, she earned her doctoral degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She is a former tenured Professor of Nursing; University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and her teaching reflected her area of expertise-medical/surgical nursing. She actively practiced at the bedside for more than two decades. In summer, 2021 she assumed the position of Nursing Research Manager-Nurse Scientist AdvocateAurora Health. Her research centers on patient safety. Dr. Lancaster serves on the Board of Directors and incoming Vice President for the Northeast Wisconsin Area Health Education Center (NEWAHEC). She serves the Fond du Lac County Aging and Disability Center as a mentor for youth with special needs. Dr. Lancaster and her husband Mark are both veterans of the United States Air Force serving two overseas tours of duty during Desert Storm. Having raised two children, Ted and Savanna, they enjoy an empty nest as well as distance bike riding, kayaking, fishing and spending time with their first grandson Colin.
