    Rami Gal, MD, was the first Milwaukee cardiologist to perform transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) on an infant and an adult, and to perform a stress TEE. He has been strongly involved in shaping professional standards and guidelines, locally (for the state Medical Society, several hospitals and managed care organizations) and nationally (for Medicare and the American College of Cardiology). Currently, he is director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratories at the Milwaukee Heart Institute, Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
